The NitroBolt from Traditions uses the Firestick encapsulated powder charge from Federal Premium. The benefits of this revolutionary product include:

Loading the NitroBolt® is as easy! Always check to make sure your safety is in the middle position (loading/unloading) and is not in the fire position. Your muzzleloader should be pointed in a safe direction.

1.  Your safety should be in the middle position. Open the bolt to verify the chamber is empty.
2. Load your projectile through the muzzle with your ramrod. Push it down the barrel and seat it on the shelf within the barrel. You’ll feel the bullet stop with resistance. This provides a consistent starting point every time
3. Prime your Firestick with a 209 muzzleloading primer and insert the Federal Premium® Firestick™ into the bolt chamber. Close the bolt slowly and the Firestick will be pushed into the barrel. The bolt should lock into place. Move the safety into the safe (locked) position.
